TOOL TIME: Application Upgrades with Analyzer & the Upgrade Filters
Location: Live Online Session @ 1 PM EDT
Date: Thursday, July 23, 2009

Summary

Are you currently in the process of, or planning to upgrade your Notes applications?

If so, please join us for this month's Tool Time session to learn ways you can use Teamstudio Analyzer as well as the Upgrade Filters to improve both efficiency and accuracy in this typically time-consuming and error-prone process. We will be covering good practice guidelines for upgrade preparations as well as ways to automate version compatability testing. General tips when working with Analyzer will also be discussed.

The topics addressed will help you to:

  • Test applications for ND8 and ND8.5 compatability.
  • Identify hard-coded server names prior to server/database consolidations.
  • Design your own custom filters.
  • Ensure proper database settings prior to deployment.
  • Understand and support applications written by someone else.
