"I regularly use a template that is used for fifty plus databases on a handful of servers. Development takes place in a 'work in progress' template. After modifications are finished and tested, a 'live' template inherits from the 'work in progress' template. One day I started work on quite a handful of modifications and wasn't aware of the fact that inheriting from 'work in progress' to 'live' was not prevented. By the end of the day some forms, views, agents and so on were in a semi-finished state, and the live template and consequently the live databases inherited all of these.
